Operation Flinders is a charitable organisation that runs adventure transformation programs for young offenders and young people at risk. The program takes participants between the age of 14 and 18 years on an eight day exercise in the far northern Flinders Ranges, providing an opportunity for participants to break away from their past and grow as valued members of the community.
Youth Opportunities is a local charitable organisation which operates a personal leadership program using an intensive 60 hour well-being and life skills training program to Year 10 school students. Using positive psychology and cognitive therapy, the program engages and extends participants knowledge and skills in areas not typically part of their schooling but that are crucially important to life.
The program focuses on a range of topics including self-confidence, bullying, positive communication and relationships, motivation for school or study and finding their future careers.
Camp Quality’s purpose is to create a better lift for every child living with cancer in Australia.
They provide services for children (0-13 years) living with cancer and their families to help create a better life by
building optimism and resilience throughout each stage of their cancer journey.
Right from diagnosis, throughout the treatment and in remission or bereavement, their programs support the whole family; at hospital, at home, back at school and away from it all.
